I thought I was pretty knowledgeable around health and family nutrition, but I’m here to tell you that food for a 40+ bodybuilding mom looks quite different from food that’s optimal for the average school-aged kid.
Now don’t get me wrong. I haven’t been force-feeding my small person egg whites and protein powder, and I understand the need for a balanced diet. BUT there are some nuances in terms of children’s development which require a specific ratio of macros; some of which were pretty unexpected.
