This time last year I came to you with a confessional. You may remember that the wicket gets mighty sticky around here as October envelops our normal day-to-day with trick-or-treat temptations and fall food fabulosities. Even a trainer and coach like me can STILL give into acts of sheer stupidity for no apparent reason.
And it just goes downhill from there. I know you know what I’m talking about. It’s the time of year most people have to recover from about 3 months from now. Because we are never satisfied until all the debauchery has been fully debauched.
Seems we give ourselves the green light to go all-out for various reasons: The season is changing, which brings new fun foods. We’re cherishing time with friends and family. We’re celebrating first Halloweens and Thanksgivings and everythings with the new little ones in our lives. Or in my case – it’s Tuesday and there’s candy corn on the counter at the dry cleaners.
